S.K.I.F.U.N. is the leading provider of ski excursions and holidays in the Slovenian market. To increase the visibility of the website in search engines, and consequently increase the number of relevant visitors, they decided on a comprehensive optimisation of the website.
What were our objectives?
The website was not compliant with the web standards, and consequently it often failed to appear among the top results in search engines. The goal of the search engine optimisation was to increase visibility of the website in search engines, and thus bring the largest possible number of relevant visitors to the website. Strategic positioning was applied to offer users the best possible user experience through the entire decision-making process, and consequently also increase the number of reservations made through the website.
What did we do?
The technical part of the website had to be redesigned first. This ensured that Google and other search engines can review and correctly understand the structure and contents of the website. Then we focused on the contents of the website, which is especially important for the user. The next step was a redesign of the product presentation (ski packages), and later also establishment of content hub. The last part of the project was a long-term strategy for a successful off-site optimisation that will ensure high-quality links to the website in the future.
