The website Tenisice.hr was created for the sole purpose of expansion to the Croatian market. Every foreign market has specific demand and the digital strategy had to be adapted to this new market. The main goal was to increase the number of visitors to the site and increase brand awareness amongst Croatian sport-lovers.
What did we wanted to achieve?
The chief objective of the search engine optimization was to improve the number of visits to the website through general, non-branded keywords that in this case were trademarks and individual sports. Another goal was to increase sales. In addition, we wanted to increase the number of long tail keywords and the number of direct visitors to the website in order to gain awareness and recognition.
What did we do?
By analyzing search engines, we identified and resolved all the problems and provided them with access to content. This was followed by a detailed keyword analysis that helped us identify the key landing pages. We optimized and adapted those landing pages to bring more conversions. We optimized the internal links on the website. In part two of the optimization, we primarily focused on off-site optimization. In this way, we positioned the website on the top of the search engines’ results for a large number of keywords, thereby increasing awareness of the brand.
